NZ electric jet propulsion company ZeroJet - a winner at the recent 2023 NZ Hi-Tech Awards.
New Zealand electric jet propulsion company, ZeroJet, was a winner at the recent 2023 NZ Hi-Tech Awards, claiming the Hi-Tech Start-up Company of the Year category.
The Gala Dinner was held in Christchurch on 23rd June where the winners were announced and the event was attended by a record crowd for the awards of over 1,000, including the Prime Minister.
The Hi-Tech Awards judges said the calibre of this year’s entrants was at an all-time high, with a record number of new companies entering the Awards making the job of selecting winners exceedingly challenging for the more than 80 local and international judges.
ZeroJet CEO, Bex Rempel commented “We were all blown away to receive this award, and it’s great recognition for all the hard work from the ZeroJet team over the last few years.”
Earlier this year ZeroJet displayed its latest electric jet systems at the Auckland Boat Show with partners Offshore Cruising Tenders and Highfield, with the first models of the new ZeroJet-powered Highfield E330 due for delivery from the start of 2024.
