Huntsman Centurion Gets a LID

The CSB Huntsman Centurion released last year as a traditional full cabin version, is now available as a hardtop.

Well, the hardtop is now complete, with the first showing of the Centurion HT at the recent Te Rakau Boat Show in Auckland. Essential the same boat as the cabin model, the only difference is the fibreglass hardtop.

Geoff Robinson, from CSB Huntsman Boats says that while the cabin model was well received, they knew that the demand was there for a hardtop.

“We have had a lot of interest in a hardtop version and from the orders we have already had from our dealers, it seems it is going to be a big seller for us”, says Geoff.

Ultimately there will be four half decks based on the same hull in either outboard or sterndrive variants.  Geoff says that a bowrider model will be the next to be released, which is being pitched at the international market. The first sterndrive version will be out in the new year.

The cabin layout is very similar to other comparable sized CSB Huntsman models, although has a little more headroom, with two 1.8m side squabs and an infill to make a larger berth. The cockpit layout is very traditional CSB Huntsman, although with a more considerable dash, and higher coamings forward. It is longer and broader than the Series 6000 and the same length as the 7m Crusader.
