The new Assault RIB knows exactly what it is and makes no apologies for that. While they are unlikely to ever become truly mainstream, there is a definite and, it appears, growing demand for large, go-anywhere, cabin RIBs.
One who recognised this trend early, and chose to do something about it, is Peter Carlson. Peter, in modern parlance, is what one would call a serial marine entrepreneur. And a very successful one.
