Invercargill based AMP Boats recently released their first 6.8m hardtop. This is a custom build with their WM (WorkMan) Series.
The new boat features a pilothouse, with a forward-facing screen design, to increase cabin space and give excellent visibility, with the driving position moved further forward.
The first HT with the WM windscreen setup has a custom front deck and low access door, providing a practical, user friendly layout. The boat was built to the customer’s spec, both in the form and design.
One of the significant custom work is a self-draining deck on the bow with a small access door. This was entirely custom built with customer input based around Alaskan style walkthroughs. A relatively new player in the alloy pontoon boat market, AMP Boats can custom quote this type of build based on a couple of model lengths, 4.5m and 6.8m+, and work through specs and features that will suit you.
